JOIN US for a celebration of the Winter Solstice, and all the good work we have done this year at Shaw Prairie. This weekend, depending on the number of volunteers present, we plan to burn some remaining trees on the N corner of the prairie. We have been working in this area for the past three years, removing brush and trees to allow the prairie to return. This workday will have a big warm bonfire, and lots of extra food! We plan to celebrate this shortest day of the year by letting the light return to the prairie. Please RSVP below so we can get a good estimate on how many folks plan to attend.
